NED Kelly Discovery Hub visitations have been booming with about 15,000 people attending the newest feature in Glenrowan since it opened.
Council director of sustainability and culture Stephen Swart said the Ned Kelly Discovery Hub has exceeded expectations in terms of visitation, with over 2000 patrons on the first day and over 12,500 since opening on September 16.
However, he said the overwhelming response to the opening day caused some issues with the technology at the hub resulting in a temporary manual control of certain audio-visual elements.
The broken elements are pressure pads which visitors can stand on to activate and view the part of the Ned Kelly story they choose, where they are surrounded by an audio and visual experience.
Mr Swart said they are currently working on a permanent solution to address this issue and once this is complete, they'll proceed with resetting the system.

The project vision was to create an immersive and contemporary tourism experience containing dynamic interpretive experiences and using technology to bring the region's infamous Australian bushranger history and its characters to life.
"The hub greets an average of 200 people a day outside of school holidays and people from far and wide have been immersing themselves in the cultural heritage of the siege at Glenrowan," he said.
"The hub remains fully operational, and all audio-visual content is still accessible to our valued visitors.
"Conversations with the local businesses of Glenrowan indicate that the school holiday visitation was outstanding.
"We anticipate this trend to persist during the upcoming warmer months, thanks to the hub's ongoing draw of visitors to Glenrowan.”
The hub is open to the public from 10am to 4pm daily.
